Introduction

  • Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Colombo for check-in. Take the rest of the day to unwind after your flight.
  • If time permits, take a short tour of Colombo’s highlights, including a visit to the Gangaramaya Temple and a walk around the city’s bustling markets.
  • Overnight stay in Colombo.
  • After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kithulgala (approximately 3-4 hours). Kithulgala is a small town nestled in the lush greenery of the central hills and is known for adventure activities like white-water rafting and trekking.
  • Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and prepare for an adventurous afternoon of white-water rafting on the Kelani River. Experience thrilling rapids and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
  • Afterward, take a guided nature walk through the surrounding rainforest, spotting local wildlife and learning about the area’s unique ecosystem.
  • Overnight stay in Kithulgala.
  • Enjoy breakfast and then head to Nuwara Eliya, a scenic drive of approximately 4-5 hours. Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England,” is famed for its cool climate, colonial architecture, and sprawling tea plantations.
  • Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring the town. Visit Gregory Lake for a boat ride or take a stroll through the lush tea gardens.
  • In the evening, visit the famous “Hill Club,” a colonial-era building, for a traditional British-style tea experience.
  • Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
  • After an early breakfast, drive to Horton Plains National Park (approximately 1 hour). This UNESCO World Heritage site is famous for its rugged terrain, cloud forests, and the stunning “World’s End,” a sheer drop that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and plains.
  • Embark on a guided trek to World’s End and explore the park’s diverse flora and fauna, including endemic bird species and wildlife like sambar deer.
  • Return to Nuwara Eliya in the afternoon to relax.

  • After breakfast, drive to Ella, a picturesque town known for its waterfalls, trekking routes, and panoramic views. The journey will take around 2.5-3 hours.

  • In the evening, relax and unwind at your hotel or visit the Ravana Falls, one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful waterfalls.

  • Overnight stay near Udawalawe National Park.
  • After breakfast, drive to the coastal town of Galle (approximately 3-4 hours). Galle is known for its Dutch colonial architecture, scenic beaches, and the historic Galle Fort.
