Introduction

  • Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Colombo. The bustling city offers a mix of historical attractions, colonial architecture, and modern developments.
  • Explore the city’s lush green parks, such as Viharamahadevi Park, or visit the Colombo Zoo to see a variety of wildlife.
  • Overnight stay in Colombo.
  • After breakfast, we will drive you to Yala National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife destinations, known for its high density of leopards and elephants. The drive will take approximately 5 hours.
  • Upon arrival, check in to your lodge near the park. After lunch, embark on an exciting afternoon safari in Yala National Park. The park is home to a wide range of animals, including elephants, crocodiles, wild boars, and various bird species. You may also spot the elusive Sri Lankan leopard during the safari.
  • Overnight stay near Yala National Park.
  • Start your day with an early morning safari in Yala National Park to maximize your chances of spotting wildlife.
  • Afterward, drive to Udawalawe National Park (about 3-4 hours). This park is famous for its large population of wild elephants, and you will have the opportunity to see herds in their natural habitat.
  • Enjoy an afternoon safari in Udawalawe, where you can also spot a variety of bird species, water buffalo, and monkeys.
  • Overnight stay near Udawalawe.
  • After breakfast, we will take you to Sinharaja Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage site located 3-4 hours away. This rainforest is home to numerous endemic species of flora and fauna.
  • Take a guided nature walk through the dense jungle, where you may encounter exotic birds, butterflies, and rare animals like the purple-faced langur.
  • In the evening, relax at your hotel near the rainforest.
  • Overnight stay near Sinharaja.
  • After a morning rainforest walk, we will drive you to Kandy (4-5 hours), known for its beautiful temples, stunning lake, and rich cultural heritage.
  • Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax before an evening visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses one of the holiest Buddhist relics in Sri Lanka.
  • Overnight stay in Kandy.
  • After breakfast, you’ll visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, one of the largest and most beautiful botanical gardens in Asia. Take a walk through the garden’s extensive collection of plants, including medicinal herbs and orchids.
  • Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive back to Colombo for your final evening in Sri Lanka.
  • Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
